Something twisted this way comes.

Popular Texas-born chain Twisted Root Burger Company is coming to Winter Park’s The Grove at the corner of Howell Branch Road and Aloma Blvd. Think ½ pound burgers, custard shakes, craft beers on tap, house made condiments and toppings (there’s a pickle bar), some Texas Wagyu, a bit of buffalo and local game meat. We hear they’re “famous for slap-yo-momma good burgers and being on Food Network’s ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’.” We’re not quite sure how to measure slap-your-momma good, but slap-Guy-Fieri good burgers would be outstanding.

A Mexican wrestler will soon be slinging weens.

Yes, a Mexican hot dog stand called Cholo Dogs will soon be ‘invading’ Mills 50. Think South-the-Border inspired fun in bun slung from a cart by a costumed luchador. Rumor has it it’ll be taking up residency in Wally’s Liquors. Check ‘em out on insta here.

Confirmed: Taste of Chengdu coming to Baldwin Park.

Last month we reported a rumored second location of Sichuan standout, Taste of Chengdu, opening in Baldwin Park. This month we confirmed directly with Chef Tiger Tang that it is indeed happening. He says more authentic, more innovative, around November. We say hurry the fuck up. We’re hungry and want to save on gas.
